If you would all be amenable to placing your vote on Tsuchigumo, I would appreciate it. Please know that Phoenix will protect Basilisk regardless of your decision; this is not meant to be a negotiation.

As long as you can promise me they're not the block that offered to sacrifice themselves, I don't have a problem with that. I can't imagine why you'd ask for that if they were, but it seems a little irresponsible not to at least check...

I promise you that they are not. Part of why I interjected myself the way I did was to be completely certain that none of the votes ended up on that group.

In the other arrangement, the group we determined would protect Tsuchigumo is one that I have less experience with, and they have less motivation to keep Tsuchigumo safe. For example, I can have quite a bit of confidence that Cerberus and Kraken will reliably protect one another, because they care about one another deeply; Tsuchigumo's current arrangement comes with no such reassurance.

My wife, Sharon, is also a member of Tsuchigumo's number.
