he's charming because he screams like a baby but he also must be either resourceful or careful because burning her face seems like the work of either a last-ditch weapon (resourceful) or a weapon that he's partial to and she's curious to know which side he falls on (not knowing that he is both)
he's also charming because despite her actually just aggroing him when she initially woke up he didn't try to attack her again which matters more with the context of "oh he did attack before though" bc it's like, oh this dude is making the CONSCIOUS decision to trust that she will not fuck him up despite the fact that the way specter menaces and the way shark menaces are pretty different (*she thinks she is less menacing when she's asleep and more menacing when she's awake). she does not expect land-dwellers to trust like that so the fact that he does is just like. b'aw. on top of that he was trying to bandage her up????? like?????? sir you are right to be afraid she is a monster. what's wrong with him HE'S NOT EVEN A DOCTOR
it additionally feels silly to her that he tended to her wounds because she is so used to her monstrous accelerated healing that (on top of being a biohazard) it feels like a waste of time and effort for someone to bother trying to nurse her to health. this has served to only be more reason to be charmed by manta ray
she also feels a little bit, like, responsible for menacing him like that when she woke up and moreso potentially getting him oripathy sick so while she does broadly feel duty-bound to every reverie person in the game on account of This Is Her Job, she feels extra like that for reim. as reticent as she is to really bond with or get invested in land-dwellers she does also feel responsible for the oripathy in her affecting someone else, so. joke's on reim he's adopted by a supersoldier shark nun now.
also she likes that he vibes like a very serious and earnest and fussy person because she's a shitter and likes to shit out of her mouth and fuck with people like that. unfortunately all white-haired red-eyed people are clownish fucko monsters (*skadi is the exception as she is not a clown)

- Ardyn: HIS FUCKING BATHROOM WAS COVERED IN BLOOD (AND SOME OTHER WEIRD GUNK). HE WAS VERY CIVIL ABOUT KIDNAPPING REIM BUT ALSO HE KIDNAPPED HIM. he CLEARLY wants to win and go home and is willing to go to lengths to achieve that
- Vincent: is Vincent Nightray
- Liontari: like their second conversation was about how Liontari loves to torture people and listen to them scream. while Ardyn and Vincent are more deliberate and industrious about the dangers they present, Liontari and Vicious are more in a category of 'they don't even seem to want anything out of it so there is really no way to predict them or prevent them from causing problems.' between the two Liontari is a lot more mercurial and actively malicious though
- Vicious: is a significantly lesser concern to Reim because he actually seems more bark than bite at the moment. Reim doesn't doubt that he could or would kill people, but he just doesn't seem interested in doing so, and as long as he doesn't feel like it he... just won't. so that is kind of the problem in hand already? but he is still an unpredictable element
- Childe: seems like he's trying to be well-behaved so at least there's that. unfortunately also seems like unlike Vicious he would really like to kill some people for fun
- Orca: he has such bad vibes but at this point he has done so much for Reim that Reim is almost starting to be like MAYBE I WAS WRONG TO THINK HE MIGHT BE DANGEROUS... AND HE'S ACTUALLY JUST REALLY ANNOYING...
although he's bad at handling Vincent and Liontari and Vicious he likes all of these people though. the only exception is Childe bc they've only spoken once
does SPECTER consider anyone to be potential threats or otherwise a potential problem of some kind

specter is racist to land-dwellers insofar as she does not take any land-dweller as a serious threat, which is informed more by her being a supersoldier created to kill eldritch sea terrors and her land life being 500% easier to live even while on the crazy sauce than living while sane and in the ocean, so like. there is not actually any person in reverie outside of skadi that she thinks of as a threat to her.
she is extremely wary of the monster possession stuff so she's not like . . . fully disregarding land-dwellers as real potential threats. but she is still kinda cocky as a person so she's fully confident she could kick anyone's monster ass and it would be whatever.
skadi is thus the most dangerous person here because 1) she is also a supersoldier and 2) she already canonically struggles with not being mentally taken over by the seaborn so having a seaborn directly possess her is a big Yikes. shark has already emotionally prepared herself to kill off skadi if she has to do so but she is less self-assured in her victory there. presumably seaborn born from abyssal hunters are more dangerous than normal seaborn (who are already dangerous) due to the aforementioned supersoldier shit, so.
skadi is also a problem in that 1) seaborn wish to assimilate with all creatures including land creatures so everyone in reverie is on the menu and 2) because shark is also possessed by seaborn she's concerned that she could lose a mental battle and end up letting her seaborn side take over her as well. she already went toe-to-toe with skadi there and ended up winning out pretty easily but a) that was a mental battle skadi was having with herself not seaborn skadi dedicated to awaken seaborn shark and b) shark is not nearly so mentally secure when she is asleep and it's kind of a problem, which loops around to:

she's a biohazard that has acute AND long-term effects on the human body!! wow!! she's not like, self-loathing over it but she IS cognizant of the fact that she could only live on land as long as she did bc she was in a medical facility for oripathy, and she's extremely aware of the fact that she has the capacity to oripathy-poison everyone in reverie hundreds of times over and if she? became?? an eldritch sea terror actively looking to assimilate into land-dwellers??? BUT HAS THE LAND-DWELLER ROCK DISEASE?????
she likes living but with the cards she has she thinks it would just objectively be easier to put her down. it's too bad (she believes) no one can do it bc she does not think a land-dweller could measure up to her strength and while skadi could possibly physically do it she does not think skadi has the emotional strength to kill shark and then not explode into seaborn.
she is thus trying . . . very very hard to keep herself together and trying harder to like, will herself awake. when she was awake earlier she tried to pushed herself to stay awake until she was reasonably sure skadi was not gonna mcfuckin lose it and even her asleep-ass brain has doubled down on the thought of "do not harm land-dwellers" (vague, unspecified cuz sleep) and (i forgot to say this earlier) she recognizes reim [+ elliot] to be a priority (instructions unclear, pilot is asleep) so asleep specter will probably read anything/anyone who attempts to hurt reim [or elliot] as a threat.

eichi is a problem because eichi will dissect people and that's on her squicks list and vincent is a problem because he's willing to get dissected but he's a nightray which means he's elliot's family so he's gonna end up hurting elliot someday if he hasn't already and she's not the sort to get involved in other people's drama so she won't but like ??? bro get your act together

i'm planning on at minimum having Shark run a drinking game! thinking of mingle game! possibly some sort of skinship game too but idk if that would be Specter or Shark who would do that one.
i'm toying with the idea of running a few games from afd cuz there are a few mingle games that are spicy but i'm also like, i don't think reverie is afd levels of nasty so maybe that's not a terribly good idea.
i also want to run the egg game (from afd) as a Seaborn game because it's both cute and funny for [ eldritch hivemind sea terror that doesn't understand emotions but is constantly evolving and trying to assimilate with everything ] to run a game about emotions. idk how down with "your monster gets a character development arc" Al is but this is my desire. tho my one problem with that is like, idk if it's fine for egg game to be running for ............ a whole month ....................................... sweats
if you were to run a trauma mingle game how would you do it

Sunday week 1: game start, ppl begin to crave flesh and are made aware that if they don’t try to eat a heart they will eventually berserk
Sunday week 2: if they didn’t eat flesh week 1 then at any point during the week they berserk and try to eat someone whole
Sunday week 3: if they didn’t eat flesh week 2 then at any point in the week they berserk and try to eat someone whole
but I would actually run it as a relatively ‘low trauma’ version as far as dangerbear goes in that eating even a mouthful of anyone’s flesh at any time will negate next week’s berserk risk completely. this gives ppl a decently easy out esp if they just handwave and thus also keeps the amount of shit going on at a more sustainable pace I think? and then the teams who win are guaranteed to just be the ones who are committed enough to find a heart and eat a whole person. even if no one seriously goes for the win condition at all I’m still ok with that tbh since ppl would still have had to chew on each other a little
the biggest conundrum I would have with this is that not everyone likes vore so I’d need to figure out another out for those people. maybe a different kind of consumption like soulsucking?
but I THINK that this would pan out in a pretty manageable way overall bc most characters wouldn’t actually gun for the win condition. I also would want to figure out a mechanic that gives some kind of indication towards who the hearts are in a way that ppl can both actively pursue and actively try to twist/conceal to hide them. I could maybe just say that the hearts taste Really Good and then anyone who is Very Simplistic in their approach could just go around biting literally everyone until they find a guy

Hasumi Keito who is just Reim Lunettes but he would run meaner games. possibly specifically nechronica or beam saber au flavored since either of them could run EXTRA meaner games. it’s relatively easy to swing reasons for most Keitos to not need to be on a team that can win too

so there are two "societies" who live under the sea, the aegir (whomst are actually like capable of talking etc) and there are the seaborn (whomst are the eldritch horrorterrors and are also less a society and more a very big colony). pretty much most aegir are like, yeah seaborn are horrifying, but SOME aegir are like, actually no seaborn are very cool and it's time to make a cult around them because yeah let's do that. there's like One Seaborn To Rule Them All who's considered the seaborn god and the cult is SUPER on that god's dick (incidentally skadi killed that god oops)
at some point (timeline-wise we are not super sure but probably post-skadi killing that god) specter was captured by the Church of the Deep, who are like, hey tell us your abyssal hunter supersoldier secrets, but even pre-insanity specter was too good at keeping her mouth shut so they put her through An Indeterminate Period of Torture & Indoctrination which did not get her to reveal the abyssal hunter supersoldier secrets but did drive her insane and also infected her with oripathy which possibly probably contributes to her insanity, who's to say
she finally escaped for one reason or another and ended up at rhodes island (protag's faction, a pharmaceutical company) and she was dressed in a nun's habit because [gestures to church of the deep] and was like I HAVE A MESSAGE but then lost consciousness and then Never Woke Up Sane Again (*except when she does, very rarely, wake up sane [but also evidently not remembering whatever the fuck message she was trying to send because it's never referenced beyond her files and whenever it's mentioned that she's having an awake day she's just quietly sitting in places and not trying to Convey Important Information so???])
so she used to be a nun because she was forced into being one while torture-indoctrinated. she's STILL a nun/dresses as a nun in canon because, FOR WHATEVER REASON, DESPITE THE FACT THAT HER LAST MOMENTS OF SANITY WAS HER TRYING TO AND FAILING TO TEAR OFF HER NUN HABIT, RHODES ISLAND JUST KEEPS PROVIDING HER WITH NUN HABITS. SHE'S BEEN WITH THEM FOR YEARS NOW. so i headcanon that as her being like, incapable of parting from the nun habit look even when she's awake bc it feels deeply uncomfortable and [anxiety about getting punished for not being a good cult nun] (*she has good days surely/we have at least one alt outfit that's important to her) as the alternative would just be "rhodes island just does that anyway because shrugs?" which would be fucked up if true

mora's threatening to app zima (lord of the flies cannibalism school survivor #1) which would leave me no choice but to app rosa (school survivor #4) and if that hell (hell bc i only have two hands) comes to pass then i would want istina (school survivor #2) and/or gummy (school survivor #3).
really if mora manages to rope me into apping another arknights to reverie then [whatever other characters in that subgroup] would be who i want apped.
IN GENERAL, i think it would be rly interesting for someone to RP whisperain in a team game bc her branch of aegir has the quirk of "you're conditionally immortal insofar as you revive every time you die but when you do you lose all your memories" and i just want to see that in rp. i would be the change i want to see in the world but my hands

ALTHOUGH HE DID TECHNICALLY KISS ROY ALREADY. if there is a kissing game and sharonbreak sit him down to have a hard talk about how sometimes it is ok for him to kiss people not them for tokens then I might get to kiss other people. but even then I might not get to kiss other people. the general shared headcanon consensus is that physical affection is like, a big thing in aegir culture (lines like "you can't do [whatever the doctor does when u tap the operator] it's rude according to the laws of the land, unless u want to do something improper rn" implying it's not rude according to laws of the sea and also being a suggestive line thanks gladiia) so if she's the stable kind of asleep then at minimum she's probably chill with it.
i haven't decided if she would end up being like, kinda coy about doing things bc on one hand i headcanon that Shark is pretty down to escalate to bone town so it's plausible in BOTH ways of, "asleep Specter would also do this bc it's just a Shark trait" or "the gap between asleep Specter and awake Shark means it's cuter for asleep Specter to be more on the chaste side". unfortunately while i do have plenty of church doctrine references none of them really refer to chastity in any sense (it's all mostly like, love each other don't lie to each other look out for each other don't fight each other etc) so it's POSSIBLE? that culturally the church of the deep just doesn't care about chastity. HOWEVER we do have at least one branch of the deep church masquerading as a land church in iberia so i could also follow the "according to the laws of the land" thing to the conclusion of chastity. i don't know yet. i might do that because my fetish. we'll just have to see when there's a kissing game.
there is also another thing of, given the torture part of tortureindoctrination i could also lean into specter being touch-averse/intimacy-averse but i think if i did that it would be like, unstable asleep Specter.
also i also enjoy "would not personally do it but as a non-knuckles Echidna feels obligated to help ppl fulfill their game duties so is open to doing that but only on that basis" and asleep Specter specifically is very much zombie give-me-orders brained so. these are a lot of words to say i'm just vibing and i'll find out probably almost the exact same time as you. definitely sooner than you but probably not much sooner.
